I am pleased to announce the AY2016 George H. Miller Memorial Fund Health Science Student Research (HSSR) Award.
The goal of the George H. Miller Memorial Fund HSSR Award is to promote mentored interprofessional research by students enrolled in health science colleges at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). There is increasing recognition that interdisciplinary models of care are needed to address the multiple needs of complex medical patients. For AY2016, the Vice President for Health Affairs (VPHA) therefore intends to fund up to three (3) $10,000 HSSR Awards addressing the use of interdisciplinary care models for patients served by the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System (UI Health).
For information about the awards, eligibility, and submission process, please visit http://research.uic.edu/funding-opportunities/internal-funding/ghm_fund.
