About
Bayan Abuhanoun is currently majoring in Biology at UIC on a pre-optometry track and hopes to graduate and attend the Illinois College of Optometry. She chose UIC & pre-optometry because she loves helping others and being able to make a positive impact on her community through her work. In her free time, she loves reading, especially any work by Toni Morrison, and hanging out with friends. Bayan also has 10 birds who she loves to play with and take care of. Being an Arab American and living in a diverse area, she values diversity amongst all areas of life including healthcare, which is what drew her to the Odeh Center.
