About
Kristie is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Advancement, Health Affairs, where she leads advancement for the UI College of Medicine, UI Hospital and Clinics, UI Cancer Center and Mile Square Health Centers.
Kristie has been raising support for programs that improve access to life-changing healthcare for more than twenty years, and has expertise in developing comprehensive fundraising strategy, securing major gifts and building new revenue streams and donor bases.
Prior to joining UIC, Kristie served as Chief Development Officer at Orbis International where she led the organization’s global fundraising and resource development strategy across all branch and affiliate offices around the world. Under her leadership, the organization successfully established and expanded partnerships with major donors, foundations, corporations and government agencies, with revenue representing upwards of $350 million a year. Kristie also held chief fundraising roles at the Touch Foundation and VillageCare.
Kristie earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL.
