Samina Vahora is a dedicated computer science major at UIC, currently pursuing a bachelor's
degree. With a passion for continuous learning and exploration, Samina actively seeks
opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills. She has independently mastered tools and
programming languages to further enhance her expertise in the field.
Samina originates from India and contributes a diverse language and cultural background to
their academic and professional endeavors. Speaking Gujarati, Hindi/Urdu, and English with
ease, she easily moves over linguistic barriers. Beyond academics, Samina is an avid badminton
player, finding joy and relaxation on the court.
As a Hijabi, Samina embraces her identity and values the importance of representation and
inclusion in all spaces. Her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is evident in both, her
personal and professional endeavors.
