Our nurse-managed health center (Mile Square Humboldt Park) has rapidly expanded to offer MAT and provide community-based naloxone resources. Recently, we became a referral site for Norwegian American Hospital (NAH), which has one of the city's highest rates of opioid-related ED utilization. Our NPs are accepting patients released from NAH's inpatient units and ED for MAT induction and maintenance. Recently, we completed a naloxone training for the Humboldt Park community and provided naloxone kits to all participants.
